John,

Washington’s top prosecutor, Denise Cheung just resigned – here’s what happened :

* Denise Cheung, Washington’s top prosecutor, was ordered by the Trump administration to investigate the $20 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, which supports projects that would significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the country.
* After being put in charge of the investigation, Cheung determined there was insufficient evidence of wrongdoing and declined to move forward with a grand jury.
* She was ordered to take law enforcement action regardless of her findings, and so she resigned.

We applaud Cheung’s courage to stand up for what is right - and not just bend the knee to Trump .

We need more brave leaders like Denise Cheung. And our SEEC Members are standing with them and calling out the numerous unlawful acts being pursued by Trump and his cronies. But they’re up against a Republican Party that is simply letting Trump get away with whatever he wants - regardless if it is legal or not. That’s why we need your support to make sure courageous climate champions are elected to congress. [[link removed]]

Trump’s unconstitutional anti-climate measures need to be opposed at every turn. We cannot go back into the dark ages of fossil fuels .

We could list out here so many different actions of

Congressman Sean Casten (D-Ill.), SEEC Vice Chair, is taking on Trump’s quixotic attacks on our green energy future . 25 Democratic Congresspeople, led by Congressman Casten, sent a letter to Energy Secretary Chris Wright urging against the cancellation of loans issued by the Energy Department’s Loan Program Office (LPO) after alarming reports of loans being cancelled.

These loans are critical to building our energy economy and national security – funding projects like Michigan’s Holtec Palisades Nuclear Plant, which will be the first repowered nuclear plant in U.S. history.

SEEC PAC members are taking on Trump’s anti-science, anti-American agenda, but they need your help. Can you rush a donation to ensure that we elect more climate champions like Congressman Casten? [[link removed]]
