Marking Memorial Day was already challenging this year. And this week's video capturing the tragic killing of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police, in addition to the recently leaked video of Armaud Arbery's murder, serve as more stark reminders of the dehumanization, indignity, and injustices faced every day by Black men in our country. This must stop. We must continue to repudiate these injustices and protest the racist violence proliferating in America. We must lead with values and continue to call for fundamental human rights.
