Supporter, have you seen the Government’s plans to block legal challenges to planning decisions for major infrastructure projects?
This worrying announcement puts the Governments priorities into sharp focus and threatens to plunge the climate and nature crisis into further peril.
For 75 years, the planning system has protected National Parks for nature, climate and people. We will not stand by if reforms risk this legacy.
This news is alarming, but we are emboldened to fight back and take legal action if needed. Will you support us and donate to our legal fighting fund?

TAKING A STAND
Last week we shared the news of our crucial role in securing a vital victory for National Parks. This win is incredibly significant as it sends a clear message to public bodies and Government that they must uphold the law or there will be consequences.
Government announcements indicate we need to work harder to fight for Protected Landscapes. The ability of groups like ours to take judicial review is essential to safeguarding this country’s most cherished natural assets.

FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURE
As growing pressure mounts on our most cherished landscapes we are working hard to submit complaints, assist in legal cases and lend our voice and expertise where it is needed. We may need to take further legal action but the costs are high, and our legal fighting fund is empty.
Please enable us to continue to fight and speak up for our Parks. Donate to our legal fighting fund today.
