Did you see this, John? Republicans are talking about adding *MORE* conditions on wildfire relief here in California:
[link removed] [[link removed]]First , Donald Trump came to California and said that we would have to roll back voting rights in order to get relief.
Now , Republicans are trying to condition aid on rolling back policies that are working to address the threat of global climate change.
Specifically, they are demanding that California loosen our clean air standards and repeal pro-electric vehicle policies.
This ever-expanding list of bizarre extortion demands is beyond the pale. There are survivors and first-responders who have been impacted by these fires and need relief. That’s where our focus is — it shouldn’t be political .
Thanks to your work in 2024, the Democratic Congressional Delegation has three more members than last year. Those members are working right now, fighting to deliver real relief and opposing any of Speaker Johnson’s strings. Will you rush a donation right now to help them in this fight? [[link removed]]
