Did you see this, John? Republicans are talking about adding *MORE* conditions on wildfire relief here in California:

First, Donald Trump came to California and said that we would have to roll back voting rights in order to get relief.

Now, Republicans are trying to condition aid on rolling back policies that are working to address the threat of global climate change.

Specifically, they are demanding that California loosen our clean air standards and repeal pro-electric vehicle policies.

This ever-expanding list of bizarre extortion demands is beyond the pale. There are survivors and first-responders who have been impacted by these fires and need relief. That’s where our focus is — it shouldn’t be political.
