We Do This Work Together
Trump’s executive orders show the real-world impact of divisive narratives that criminalize immigrants. Shifting narratives takes all of us, and we refuse to cede ground in this narrative battle. Stay tuned as we develop new guidance with partners across the immigrant justice field to mobilize the movement. Forward this email to your friends and encourage them to

ICYMI: Homelander for President
Donald Trump is sowing chaos and confusion from the White House, again. Where do we go from here? Last November, we were joined by special guests Alan Jenkins, Maytha Alhassen, and Gan Golan for an
artist and activist chat<[link removed]> to examine the striking parallels between real world and fictional leaders like Homelander from The Boys who manipulate public opinion and thrive on division. In this conversation, we discussed how we can harness the power of pop culture to fight for justice. Learn from these insights by watching the recording of the event.

Supporting Our Community in LA
Our hearts go out to the families and communities impacted by the devastating Los Angeles fires. These disasters underscore the failure of elected leaders to address climate change or establish the social infrastructure needed to support recovery. Thankfully, community members are coming together to pool an abundance of resources to care for one other. We are grateful to Sarah Vitti and Bianca Gabrielle Wilson for compiling this
resource guide<[link removed]> for those affected by the wildfires. Please share widely and continue to show your support in this dire time of need!

Real Women Have Curves on Broadway
Real Women Have Curves: The Musical<[link removed]> is a funny, joyous, and empowering new show coming to Broadway this April. It’s the summer of 1987, and Ana Garcia dreams of flying away from East Los Angeles. But when her family receives a make-or-break order for 200 dresses, Ana finds herself juggling her own ambitions, her mother’s expectations, and a community of women all trying to make it work against the odds. Based on the play by Josefina López that inspired the iconic hit film, Real Women Have Curves: The Musical is “a winner, with a big heart and joyous abandon” (The Boston Globe). “It makes us feel we can all soar!” (WBUR).

"I joined the producing team of Real Women Have Curves because I truly believe in the importance of hearing and seeing diverse voices on Broadway. This is an immigration story that celebrates the importance of family, following your dreams and connection through community. It is a joyous and moving story for all to see!"
