Dear John, [link removed] [[link removed]]
A custodian points a gun at several students he thinks are misbehaving. An elementary school student finds a gun that was left in a bathroom. Bullet fragments lodge in a high schooler’s neck when his teacher’s gun accidentally fires.
All these stories are real examples of what has happened when guns were brought into schools. People across the state have said no to this policy over and over, yet Wisconsin legislators are once again introducing a dangerous bill that would result in armed school employees.
Tell your elected officials they must reject this extreme bill and keep guns out of our schools . [[link removed]]
There is zero evidence that arming teachers prevents or stops mass shootings. Instead, it increases the risk of accidental shootings and puts guns within reach of students.
I'll contact my legislators now! [[link removed]]
Guns are already the leading cause of death for children and teens in Wisconsin. Bringing more guns into schools will only lead to more tragedy.
Email your legislators now, and tell them they must keep guns out of our schools. [[link removed]]
Thank you for your action,
