*2023 Community Resilience Estimates and Natural Hazard Risk Ranking Tables*
On Thursday, January 30, the Census Bureau is scheduled to release the 2023 Community Resilience Estimates (CRE) [ [link removed] ], which highlight socially vulnerable areas in the United States.
Featuring a new interactive tool, this release includes seven ranking tables per geographic level, highlighting the nation’s top 25 most socially vulnerable counties and top 100 census tracts in the following context: winter weather risk areas, flooding risk areas, hurricane risk areas, strong wind risk areas, wildfire risk areas, and earthquake risk areas (new for 2023 CRE).

The LED Partnership is a collaboration between state data agencies and the U.S. Census Bureau to leverage existing data in the development of new sources of economic and demographic information.Â
