2023 Community Resilience Estimates and Natural Hazard Risk Ranking Tables
On Thursday, January 30, the Census Bureau is scheduled to release the 2023 Community Resilience Estimates (CRE), which highlight socially vulnerable areas in the United States.
Featuring a new interactive tool, this release includes seven ranking tables per geographic level, highlighting the nation’s top 25 most socially vulnerable counties and top 100 census tracts in the following context: winter weather risk areas, flooding risk areas, hurricane risk areas, strong wind risk areas, wildfire risk areas, and earthquake risk areas (new for 2023 CRE).

📝 Call for Presenters for the 2025 LED Partnership Virtual Workshop
Submit your proposal to be a presenter at the 2025 LED Partnership Workshop. This year's workshop, to be held April 8-10, celebrates 25 years!
Take the opportunity to highlight your research among peer data users on topics such as workforce development, economic development, transportation planning, economic analysis, and emergency management.
The deadline to submit proposals is Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
The LED Partnership is a collaboration between state data agencies and the U.S. Census Bureau to leverage existing data in the development of new sources of economic and demographic information.
