Again, thank you for trusting ARPF to lead the way in Alzheimer’s prevention. Together, we are doing everything possible to eradicate this horrible disease. Yours in Brain Health, Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D. President / Medical Director SUPPORT ARPF DONOR SPOTLIGHT Le Craven, IMBA This month, we would like to recognize Le Craven, IMBA. Le was ARPF’s office manager and former Board Member for many years. She has also been a caregiver for family members who suffered from dementia. Le sends a message of hope, "The scientific rigor and devotion to the premise that prevention is indeed possible has presented us all with simple, practical, and affordable self-care regimens that hold this terrible disease at bay. As one Kirtan Kriya devotee said at an educational event, 'Even if we only accomplish delay for a decade, THAT would preserve quality of life for most of us seniors' Indeed!” We are so grateful to Le for her years of service and her continued support of ARPF. DONATE IN MEMORY OF A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER Dharma Singh Khalsa, MD OUTREACH Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares Kirtan Kriya We were delighted to see our research study featuring Kirtan Kriya called, "Cognitive and immunological effects of yoga compared to memory training in older women at risk for Alzheimer’s disease" receive attention from wellness industry leaders. Arnold Schwarzenegger shared the following in his wellness newsletter: "Another study looked at older individuals who were at risk for cognitive decline. Those who did yoga had less cognitive impairment (compared to those doing memory training) and had lower levels of gray matter and inflammation. The researchers explained that yoga’s blend of physical movement, controlled breathing, and mindfulness may create a “neuroprotective cocktail.” By lowering stress levels and improving oxygen flow to the brain, yoga appears to boost the brain's plasticity—its ability to adapt, grow, and improve. If you want to feel less overwhelmed or mentally foggy — and protect your mind — try a few poses a few times per week. You might just stretch your way to a sharper, calmer mind that can better fight off the decline you experience with aging." Want to learn more about the brain health benefits of yoga and meditation? Check out our renowned Brain Longevity Therapy Training. PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT Pink Brain Project White Paper The goal of this study was to explore whether women with multiple health conditions that are risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease would benefit from practicing Kirtan Kriya every day for 12 weeks. And guess what? The results are so gratifyingly positive! Download your copy and see the incredible outcomes.
