Dear Friend,
Reflecting on the promise of a new year, **my mind turns to YOU**. Because of
your compassion, hope is reaching people who need it most across the
country—people like Army veteran, Mike...
Despite his own hardships battling homelessness, Mike rescued a pup Gemma,
saving her from euthanasia at a local shelter. Side by side, they braved
Maine’s brutal winter conditions, until the cold threatened their survival.
**VOA’s Huot House** gave them both warmth, care and a lifeline.
Your compassion doesn’t just provide immediate relief for people like Mike and
his pup—[you are creating a LEGACY, of lasting, brighter
futures.]([link removed])
By including VOA in your will, you can ensure veterans, families and seniors
in need _always_ have a place to turn for help and hope.

Today, thanks to kind hearts like yours, Mike is rebuilding his life, and he
and Gemma will soon move into a permanent home. ******Thank you again, for
making second chances possible. I’m excited for all we will accomplish
together in 2025!**
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tom Waters, Executive Vice President
