We must ensure that the 119th Congress acts on these critical measures before the focus turns to other priorities. But it won’t be an easy fight. There is always pushback from well-funded opponents that exploit animals: the trophy hunting lobby, factory farming industry, puppy mill owners and others who abuse animals for profit.

With you beside us, the Humane Society Legislative Fund is fighting these industries head-on to secure laws and regulations to end new animal testing for cosmetics, stop the exploitation of dogs in puppy mills, halt the killing of American horses for human consumption, ensure farm animals are treated humanely and so much more!

We must ensure our elected leaders prioritize animal welfare in this first session of the 119th Congress. Lawmakers are facing many competing priorities, so it’s imperative our voices are heard NOW.
