Nottingham City Council Passenger Transport Services provides a specialised transport service for children and adults with complex needs. We have an exciting opportunity for a Passenger Transport Supervisor to join this established, dedicated and passionate team on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be a team player with well-developed communication skills, have previous supervisory experience of a team and an understanding of how to influence colleagues to deliver a high level of customer service. You will have an awareness, understanding, and commitment to the city councils equality scheme in terms of service delivery and employment. In addition, you will manage, support and influence colleagues in a number of areas including; attendance & performance management, fleet management and safeguarding, alongside providing support with day-to-day operational issues. You will achieve this by communicating with staff through training sessions, one to one meetings and sickness and performance reviews, demonstrating your well-honed interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain good relationships.
