Nottingham City Council Passenger Transport Services provides a specialised transport service for children and adults with complex needs. We have an exciting opportunity for a Passenger Transport Supervisor to join this established, dedicated and passionate team on a full time, permanent basis.?
???????????????

You will be a team player with well-developed communication skills, have previous supervisory experience of a team and an understanding of how to influence colleagues to deliver a high level of customer service. You will have an awareness, understanding, and commitment to the city council?s equality scheme in terms of service delivery and employment.? In addition, you will manage, support and influence colleagues in a number of areas including; attendance & performance management, fleet management and safeguarding, alongside providing support with day-to-day operational issues.? You will achieve this by communicating with staff through training sessions, one to one meetings and sickness and performance reviews, demonstrating your well-honed interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain good relationships.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?

? good communication abilities and good interpersonal skills.
? An understanding of customer service and how to influence colleagues to deliver good customer service.
? An awareness, understanding and commitment to the City Council's Equality Scheme in terms of service delivery and employment.
? Supervisory experience of transport related operations.
? Knowledge of passenger transport legislation in relation to operating a fleet of mini buses or ambulances.
? Experience of monitoring, checking and compliance along with knowledge of health and safety legislation.
