Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s so-called “Department of Government
Efficiency,” aka DOGE. 🙄
They have previously threatened to slash anywhere from $500 billion to $2
trillion in federal spending. Those spending cuts are impossible to
achieve without slashing funding for Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act:

Pramila is counting on grassroots supporters like you to help her fight
back and rally support for expanding health care, not cutting it. [ [link removed] ]Will
you pitch in $3 before tonight’s mid-month deadline to
support her work in Congress?
We’ll be honest: With MAGA Republicans holding the majority in both
chambers, it’s possible they could do this even with uniform opposition
from Democrats.
But we’ve been in this situation before. Last time Republicans tried to
repeal the Affordable Care Act, we rallied public opposition and pressured
even some Republicans into voting to save it.
We have to do the same thing now — but that kind of work takes resources,
so it’s critical that we continue to hit all of our fundraising goals.
