John, you've almost certainly heard about Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s so-called “Department of Government Efficiency,” aka DOGE. 🙄
They have previously threatened to slash anywhere from $500 billion to $2 trillion in federal spending. Those spending cuts are impossible to achieve without slashing funding for Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act:
