This marks a crucial step toward protecting North America’s largest amphibian and critical freshwater ecosystems across 17 states. Our latest profile features Justinn Overton, Coosa Riverkeeper. The Coosa River, a 280-mile-long tributary of the Alabama River that flows through Georgia and Alabama, holds deep personal significance for Justinn. It’s a central part of her childhood memories, a driving force behind her work, and a vital source of drinking water for her community.
