When I first moved to Denver in 1997, I met an up and coming brewpub owner named John Hickenlooper.
Twenty-three years later, John is running for the United States Senate in a hotly contested race against Republican Cory Gardner.
It’s critical that we beat Donald Trump in November – but that's not enough. We also must take back the Senate from Mitch McConnell to pass the progressive legislation we need to put our country back on the right track. [[link removed]]
As both Mayor of Denver and Governor of Colorado, John put Colorado on a path toward progress. He expanded Medicaid, signed gun background checks into law, and passed bipartisan economic development legislation for rural parts of our state.
