Dear Friend,

Help us stop this! PETA's latest undercover investigation reveals a litany of horrors for animals in the laboratories at the Cleveland Clinic:

* Mice whose skulls were cut open, leaving a gaping wound that was covered with
glass

* Animals with their internal organs hanging out receiving no pain relief

* Mice deliberately paralyzed and forced to drag themselves along just to reach
food

* Animals with ulcerated, untreated wounds

* Mice crammed together in intolerably unnatural conditions and simply
forgotten by workers

* Baby mice trampled to death or cannibalized by their severely stressed
parents in cages that workers knew were too crowded

* Pigs apparently used as live dummies for inexperienced doctors to practice
surgery on

In 2019 alone, the Cleveland Clinic received more than $100 million in taxpayer money from the National Institutes of Health.
