The Right Man At The Right Time 🇺🇲

East Tennesseans don't ask for a whole lot, but they're concerned about how
Washington handles their hard-earned money, and it’s high time we got serious
about that.

We burn through a trillion dollars every 100 days
<[link removed]>
, and this type of reckless spending has driven inflation through the roof. I'm
sad to report that Tennessee is one of thetop 10 states
<[link removed]>
that has been hit hardest by the cost-of-living crisis.

Our national debt isn’t just a number; it’s our greatest threat. If we don’t
stop this gravy train, we’re headed straight over the cliff, and America will
become another third-world country.

All things considered, the next Speaker of the House must be willing to get
down to brass tacks and right these wrongs, and I’m confident thatnewly
re-elected
<[link removed]>
Mike Johnson knows that.

Speaker Johnson is a good man, and I consider him a close friend. He’s a
Christian who loves his family and a leader who is responsive to his fellow
Republicans’ concerns—something I’ve rarely seen during my time in Congress.

It's a tough job, but I gave Speaker Johnson my vote because I believe he's
the right man at the right time. He's a man of integrity, and I have faith that
he'll lead with conviction as he continues in his role as Speaker of the House.

This country is in a rough spot, and Americans deserve a government that
respects their hard work. With Speaker Johnson at the helm, we can restore
fiscal sanity and prove that Washington still serves the people.

It’s time to deliver on our promises and make America great again!

Turning Tracks Into Trails 🛤️

<[link removed]>

South Knoxville is gearing up for an upgrade that will give us another way to
enjoy the beauty of East Tennessee. The proposedRail-to-Trail project
<[link removed]>
will turn 3.8 miles of unused train tracks into a scenic path for walking,
biking—or maybe even some longboarding.

With funding lined up and plenty of excitement from locals, this greenway is
set to make South Knoxville more vibrant and connected. If all goes as planned,
we could see it become a reality within the year.
