killing of cats in contravention of the law, among other relief. The next step

[[link removed]] We’re speaking out against the consideration of a feeding ban for community

If you've been following us throughout the year, you know that we rescued
Phoenix during the historic Smokehouse Creek Fire in Texas in February and March
2024. After treatment for burned paws and smoke inhalation, plus months of
continued care, we're so glad to say Phoenix is a gorgeous and thriving cat
today!

Phoenix loves spending time outside and has gained so much confidence since the
rough period shortly after the fire, when he was more likely to hide than greet
the day with a cat's curiosity. He's had an incredible transformation, and we're
proud to have been a part of it.

Thank you for helping us make a lifesaving impact for cats all year long,
including through disaster response. Your generosity and support mean everything
to us and to the cats we protect! [[link removed]] [[link removed]] [[link removed]] [[link removed]] [[link removed]] [[link removed]] [[link removed]] 7920 Norfolk Avenue, Suite 600, Bethesda, MD 20814
