Alley Cat Allies Filed a Lawsuit to Stop Illegal Killing of Cats in Ohio
We're asking the Court to order Summit County to immediately cease its inhumane killing of cats in contravention of the law, among other relief. The next step is to create a humane animal control agency that adheres to laws and best practices, including TNR.

Phoenix
Phoenix Rises
Happy New Year from Phoenix!

If you've been following us throughout the year, you know that we rescued Phoenix during the historic Smokehouse Creek Fire in Texas in February and March 2024. After treatment for burned paws and smoke inhalation, plus months of continued care, we're so glad to say Phoenix is a gorgeous and thriving cat today!

Phoenix loves spending time outside and has gained so much confidence since the rough period shortly after the fire, when he was more likely to hide than greet the day with a cat's curiosity. He's had an incredible transformation, and we're proud to have been a part of it.

Thank you for helping us make a lifesaving impact for cats all year long, including through disaster response. Your generosity and support mean everything to us and to the cats we protect!
