Hi Taxpayer. By now, you know about the University of
Pennsylvania:
* 11 disabled dogs will be crippled and killed

* NIH recently rammed through a payout to this lab
* Dog bones are dissected and collected — like trophies on a college
professor’s desk

Now, I hope you’ll give me two minutes to convince you why that’s far more than
just a tagline. It’s our promise.
Step 1: You Give.

investigators first needed your help to EXPOSE the Dept. of Veterans Affairs
(VA) dog lab in Richmond.

Here’s the actual email appeal I sent you six years ago. That’s when we launched
a rapid response campaign at the VA and needed your help to CLOSE its Richmond
dog lab.
Our average donation from these emails?
About $20.
Step 2: We Win.
But Taxpayer, your $20 goes a long way.
You see, the moment you give to these emails, we’re able to finance our
investigative research, media, advertising, litigation, and lobbying.
It’s how we pay for our winning campaigns.
Case in point: after you and WCW’s grassroots army donated to my email
fundraisers, this happened:

send so many emails.
Six-month-old puppies. Latex injected into their arteries. Tethered to a
treadmill. Forced to run in heart attack tests.
No anesthesia. No pain relief.
The Richmond lab at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs was the most painful dog
experimentation laboratory in the entire federal government…
And it was SHUT DOWN by our rapid response email campaign!
WCW is proud to be the only group to successfully close federal dog labs in
nearly 20 years. No other organization has closed any in decades.
Bottom line: WCW = White Coat WINS .

Of course, winning is a means to an end: saving dogs, puppies, and other animals

help to RELEASE the VA survivors.
As you can see here, the VA planned to stick a needle in these hounds, kill
them, and incinerate them… like garbage.
So, I wrote an urgent email appeal. You stepped up.

survivors like Garnet.
Taxpayer, meet Garnet. She was once known as hound
#210332 at the VA’s treadmill and heart attack lab in Richmond.

As you can see, she was purchased from the very same puppy mill that NIH shops at:

But because YOU gave money to our rapid response email fundraiser, WCW rescued
Garnet and the P.O.W.s and got them into loving homes… where they belong:
