Conflict does not stop for the holidays. On Christmas Day last week,
Russia directed more than 70 cruise and ballistic missiles and 100
strike drones at Ukraine. Families are living through unimaginable
atrocities and enduring multiple humanitarian crises three years into
Russia's full-scale invasion.

conflicts like those in Ukraine and Gaza, natural disasters, and
health emergencies across the globe continue to impact families and
communities and our resources are being stretched to provide them

I grew up in Lebanon during the civil war, and I know firsthand what
it's like to live through violence and hardship. The fact that
so many families in Ukraine, Gaza, and other conflict zones have been
torn apart has impacted me to my core. It shows me just how important

the normalization of human suffering.
