Essential workers are on the front lines of this pandemic, and we need to
band together to support each other. Many are working in high-risk
conditions without appropriate equipment, safety standards, or job
protections.
The old normal failed essential workers. Protecting them is a key part of
emerging from this pandemic better than before.
That’s why we’re joining millions of people in solidarity with essential
workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis. Join us today in
demanding the Senate #ProtectEssentialWorkers by passing an Essential
Worker Bill of Rights:

The stories you shared with us a few weeks ago remind us of the future
we’re fighting for, one that’s better than before. Here’s what we’re
hearing from essential workers on the ground:
I'm a Cardiac Critical Care Nurse taking care of the sickest of COVID-19
patients. Emotionally, taking care of these patients without their
families present is extremely difficult and depressing. I rely on my
co-workers and husband (from a distance). -Camden, NJ
I'm working the same hours, but covering for furloughed coworkers in
addition to normal duties. - Denver, CO
We need our lawmakers to pass policies like paid sick leave and workplace
health standards to protect against more workers getting sick.
