Family friendly, wheelchair accessible, dinner provided

Join us at our August General Meeting on Monday! Every other month, DSA New Orleans members and supporters gather to discuss updates on our on-going campaigns, debate priorities for the chapter and gather to build community.

This month we'll be hearing a report-back from the DSA National Convention that took place in Atlanta earlier in August. We'll have our committee and campaign leaders available to discuss on-going work on Medicare-for-All, worker organizing, direct service, the Green campaign for Agriculture & Forestry, and more.

We'll also have a discussion on our chapter model so we can hear from members how we can improve. Pepper Roussel Bowen, a candidate for District 91, will give a brief presentation about her campaign and platform, and we'll debate a resolution for our immigrant solidarity work ([link removed]) . As always, the meeting is family friendly, wheelchair accessible and dinner will be provided.
