John,

This has been a year marked by solidarity and resilience. We’ve seen progress, like workers organizing for better pay and getting it, and communities demanding action on climate change. But we’ve also seen growing attacks on truth and justice, and on the people who stand up for both. The challenges have been immense—but so has the hope.

As we step into a new year, it’s clear that we need stronger, louder, and more unified narratives to push back against those that are threatening to consume our country and to inspire visions of what is possible. The economy’s role in many Americans’ voting choices in the 2024 elections made clear to us that the fight for justice isn't just about the actions we take, but also about the stories we tell.

Despite the challenges ahead—and, in fact, as a result of them—Common Future is still building and shaping the equitable economy we know is possible.

We invite you to join this work by making an end-of-year donation to Common Future. Even $25 makes a big difference. ([link removed])

Early next year we will share some sneak peeks into the approach behind and purpose of our next strategic plan. One thing that has not changed, and that we will never back down from, is our commitment to advancing just and equitable economies rooted in strategies led by Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color in the United States. We will continue telling the truth about our nation’s history, its effect on the present day, and the possibility that the future holds for generations to come.

Make your tax-deductible gift to Common Future now, and help us continue the fight for justice into 2025 and beyond. ([link removed])
