Up until the November 2024 general election, Donald Trump tried separating
himself from Project 2025: a set of right-wing policies put together by
far-right organizations like the Heritage Foundation that would
drastically reshape our country as we know it.

Their extreme plans include further restrictions on abortion, IVF, birth
control, and other reproductive care, abolishing the U.S. Department of
Education, rolling back environmental protections and climate action,
weakening the Department of Justice while giving more power to the
president, throwing out protections for workers, and a whole lot more.

Project 2025 swiftly received widespread public backlash, which is why
Trump claimed he had nothing to do with it — until he won. Now, he’s
appointed at least half a dozen authors and supporters of the right-wing
manifesto to his administration.

Trump thinks he can say and do whatever he wants, including eroding the
checks and balances that prevent our democracy from turning into an
autocracy — but not on Rob’s watch.

The Attorney General and his team have been busy preparing for every
potential legal fight ahead, and they’re going to be ready to go on Day 1
of Trump’s second presidency.
