You might not know the Older Americans Act (OAA), but it's a keystone of federal aging policy. It powers important services like: * Elder rights protections
* Senior center programs
* Nutrition programs
* Job training and placement

The OAA is up for reauthorization—that's Beltway speak for "renewal"—and the Senate just passed a bill to do that with unanimous support . That's a clear acknowledgement of the growing need for what the OAA does. Now, it's time for the House to follow suit before the holidays.
