You might not know the Older Americans Act (OAA), but it's a keystone of federal aging policy. It powers important services like:

• Elder rights protections
• Senior center programs
• Nutrition programs
• Job training and placement
• Health education programs
• Caregiver support
• And more!

The OAA is up for reauthorization—that's Beltway speak for "renewal"—and the Senate just passed a bill to do that with unanimous support. That's a clear acknowledgement of the growing need for what the OAA does. Now, it's time for the House to follow suit before the holidays.

Contact your Representative today and encourage them to vote for OAA reauthorization before the year ends.
