As we mark Human Rights Day this week, I want to remind us that our journey isn’t over. Ongoing solidarity is vital in protecting and defending the rights of refugees.

To this effect, UNHCR’s Hope Away from Home campaign([link removed]) has launched a new film, which tells the story of refugees’ journeys. Our hope is that through this film, we can challenge the world to see beyond the label of ‘refugee’; To see a person, someone with dreams and fears, just like you and me.

I hope you will take a moment to watch the film. I hope the urgency and message of the film can inspire meaningful conversations about the issue that can spark a real change. I hope this film will inspire you to share this message with a friend or your family today. Let’s continue to unite for hope, humanity, and justice.
