Your voices resonated as 64 member state representatives convened at UNHCR’s annual Pledging Conference, driving extraordinary global support and funding to protect people forced to flee. Thank you for standing with us 💙 As we mark Human Rights Day this week, I want to remind us that our journey isn’t over. Ongoing solidarity is vital in protecting and defending the rights of refugees. To this effect, UNHCR’s Hope Away from Home campaign has launched a new film, which tells the story of refugees’ journeys. Our hope is that through this film, we can challenge the world to see beyond the label of ‘refugee’; To see a person, someone with dreams and fears, just like you and me.
