"It feels so good to have FIT there to support and help me." - Abigail

[link removed]

When Abigail first met with her case manager after arriving at our Family Shelter, she detailed her strategies for keeping her family fed every month when times were tough. This often meant she would go without essential items like food, toiletries, and even feminine hygiene products to ensure her children had enough to eat.

After Abigail was given essential care items by her case manager, she said, "It feels so good to have FIT there to support and help me."

This story is becoming more common. But with your help on this Giving Tuesday, we can ease the burden of our community members so they never again have to choose between housing, food, and essential personal care items.
