Friends,

Did you see this? Our Blue Dogs Jared Golden and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez are proposing sweeping changes to the U.S. House of Representatives to reduce political polarization and start getting things done for the American people.

This legislation will convene a 14-member select committee from both parties to improve our electoral process and recommend common sense changes.

Will you add your name to our petition if you support these much-needed reforms? [[link removed]]

SUPPORT THIS REFORM » [[link removed]]Among the many changes the committee will consider are expanding the size of the House, forming independent redistricting committees, and replacing the winner-take-all electoral system with proportional representation.

As Marie Gluesenkamp Perez said, “These structural problems won’t be solved with inside-the-box thinking or by defending the status quo.”

This legislation has the support of over 170 political scientists, but now we need yours! Will you sign our petition if you support these commonsense electoral reforms? [[link removed]]
