I hope you had a **GREAT** Thanksgiving celebration yesterday and enjoyed all the time with family and friends while hopefully eating too much food.
Now it is time for the **BIG question**...
It is the day after Thanksgiving and is it too soon to put up the Christmas Tree ( [link removed] )? _Some say yes and others say no._
I may not know the answer to that question but I do know the answer to another question that some Christians struggle with:
**IS THE CHRISTMAS TREE PAGAN? ( [link removed] )**
**Jeremiah 10:3-4** says, _"For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter."_
From a quick read **it would seem the Bible is against Christmas Trees ( [link removed] )**...

Recently at Sheridan.Church ( [link removed] ), I started a _mini-series_ within our _WKND series_ over the Book of Acts ( [link removed] ).
In **Acts 17** , the **Apostle Paul** spent 3 weeks in Thessalonica **reasoning** , **explaining** and **proving** **Jesus** from the Old Testament Scriptures.
Therefore, I took the **Book of Genesis** and _reasoned_, _explained_ and _proved_ **Jesus as Messiah** from those 50 chapters in the 1st book of the Bible.
The next Sunday, we looked at Jesus in the **Book of Exodus**.
I believe these sermons will really teach you some things that maybe you have never seen before from the _\*Torah_.
