I hope you had a GREAT Thanksgiving celebration yesterday and enjoyed all the time with family and friends while hopefully eating too much food.

Now it is time for the BIG question...

It is the day after Thanksgiving and is it too soon to put up the Christmas Tree? Some say yes and others say no.

I may not know the answer to that question but I do know the answer to another question that some Christians struggle with:

IS THE CHRISTMAS TREE PAGAN?

Jeremiah 10:3-4 says, "For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter."

From a quick read it would seem the Bible is against Christmas Trees...

Recently at Sheridan.Church, I started a mini-series within our WKND series over the Book of Acts.

In Acts 17, the Apostle Paul spent 3 weeks in Thessalonica reasoning, explaining and proving Jesus from the Old Testament Scriptures.

Therefore, I took the Book of Genesis and reasoned, explained and proved Jesus as Messiah from those 50 chapters in the 1st book of the Bible.

The next Sunday, we looked at Jesus in the Book of Exodus.

I believe these sermons will really teach you some things that maybe you have never seen before from the *Torah.
