<[link removed]> Thank you! We did it. More than a year of hard work and prayers resulted in a great win on November 5th. Even though we were outspent by millions we won by nearly four points, 50.3 - 46.6%. I’m so proud of my family, our team, and the hundreds of supporters across the district, across Michigan, and across the nation, who helped our campaign. It was an awesome victory and I couldn’t have done it without you! <[link removed]> Only eight seats in the country flipped from Democrat to Republican, and with several Republican incumbents losing, we have just a 3-seat majority, with two vacancies to be filled by special elections. Without you, we might not have a majority. At the end of a long ten days of briefings, meetings, and interviews, I joined my freshman colleagues for the office lottery. Of the more than 50 new Members of Congress, I drew the 14th pick, and a bipartisan group of freshman allowed me to pick the office once used by my great grandfather, Congressman Louis Rabaut, who served in Congress for 24 years. I am grateful to my new colleagues for allowing me this honor and am excited to move in and get to work. Among my great grandfather’s accomplishments, was adding “Under God” to America’s Pledge of Allegiance, something my family and I are very proud of. This Thanksgiving, I will be with my extended family and hope to learn more about his time in Congress. Me and Ashley at “freshman orientation” at the U.S. Capitol. I will get sworn in to Congress on January 3, 2025, and will immediately get to work. I am excited about President-elect Trump’s cabinet picks and look forward to getting to work on the issues impacting the American people and their security. We have a lot to be thankful for this year, which will make this Thanksgiving very special. I hope you and your family do as well, and Ashley and I wish you the very best this holiday season.
