*ACT NOW to save up to $155—early-bird savings only last through December 20.*

Additional discounts are available for students and organizations that register multiple people at the same time, and scholarships and hotel stipends are available on a limited basis to qualified individuals—don’t delay, as scholarship and hotel stipend applications are due by December 20!

Presented again by the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission in partnership with Phoenix I Restoration and Construction, LLC, Real Places 2025 will take place April 23–25 both online and in person at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.

When registering for in-person attendance, you can choose between “premium” and “basic” registration. Premium is exactly what you’ve come to expect if you’ve attended Real Places before—access to all public conference sessions, events, and meals (not including pre-conference workshops). New this year is basic registration, which does not include breakfasts and lunches on Thursday and Friday—you’re on your own for those, but you save $150 off your registration price. The hotel offers an onsite restaurant and bar, and there are numerous restaurants [ [link removed] ] within walking distance.

As always, virtual attendees will be able to attend all sessions (not workshops), and both virtual and in-person attendees will have access to recordings of all sessions for up to 60 days—you won’t have to worry about choosing between great concurrent sessions!

Please register today and pass this on to friends and colleagues involved in museums, historic sites, historic preservation, heritage tourism, archeology, and downtown revitalization, so they don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity!
