Dr. Lao studies genetic, biological, social, and environmental contributions to cerebrovascular disease, neuroinflammation, and Alzheimer’s disease. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he supervises the Alzheimer’s Disease And PeT (ADAPT) Imaging laboratory.
