Dr. Patrick Lao earned his Ph.D. in Medical Physics, using the principles of radiation to create meaningful medical images. These neuroimaging biomarkers can be used to non-invasively assess disease pathology during an individual’s lifetime, not just at autopsy. Dr. Lao studies genetic, biological, social, and environmental contributions to cerebrovascular disease, neuroinflammation, and Alzheimer’s disease. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he supervises the Alzheimer’s Disease And PeT (ADAPT) Imaging laboratory.

This is the last webinar of the year. Even if you can't attend live, register and you will receive the recording. You don't want to miss this very important webinar.

Easy Ways to Support ARPF

  • Facebook fundraiser: ask your friends and family to donate for your birthday or another special occasion. Facebook offers this easy option, and it doesn’t cost you anything. If you don’t have a Facebook account, ask your young family members to create it for you.

  • Donate a vehicle: if you have a car, truck, motorcycle, RV, or boat that you don't want, it can be put to good use as an ARPF donation. This nationwide service is a great way to show support.
