Hi John — This is what we saw the other day on the New York Times website when Democrat Derek Tran took the lead for the first time in our ultra-competitive CA-45 U.S. House district:

We’ll be honest with you, our team at the California Democratic Party has pushed over our expected field budget to keep our ground operations running past Election Day to ensure every eligible vote is counted in this race.
We’ve been working to correct errors on ballots (aka “cure”), and this narrow count proves that those efforts are absolutely critical.
