Dear John, This past week I was in beautiful Kildonan–St. Paul, Manitoba. I’m thankful for the opportunity to connect one-on-one with my constituents, and hear their questions and concerns firsthand so I can do the best job possible representing them in Ottawa. Here is a sample of what I got up to: <[link removed]> On Remembrance Day I was honoured to lay a wreath and take part in Royal Canadian Legion 215’s Remembrance Day service in East St. Paul to honour and remember Canada’s veterans. To those who have served, and continue to serve, to protect us - thank you. Lest we forget. <[link removed]> It was a privilege to speak with grade 6 and 7 students of West St. Paul school as we explored Canada’s political system. We talked about how the House of Commons functions and my experience as a Member of Parliament. <[link removed]> Great to meet with Scott McMurchy, the new Assistant Commissioner and Commanding Officer of the Manitoba RCMP. We discussed public safety issues related to gangs and potential interventions available for youth to avoid crime. We also discussed the alarming rise in domestic violence and what could be done to address this. <[link removed]> Last night I was pleased to attend the fall supper in support of the SAFARI (Springfield Area Farmers Aiding Relief Internationally) growing project with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. The Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a faith-based organization started by prairie farmers who wanted to end global hunger. I was touched by the level of impact this organization has accomplished and honoured to meet such generous and hardworking individuals and volunteers who make this important work possible. If you have a suggestion or request for an event in our community that you would like me to attend or a community organization you would like me to visit, please contact my office. I would love to hear from you! If you support the work I am doing in Winnipeg, please consider donating <[link removed]> so I can continue serving our community. Thank you for your support! Sincerely, Raquel Kildonan–St. Paul <[link removed]> <[link removed]> <[link removed]> Kildonan—St. Paul Conservative Association, 1795 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg, MB R2E 4E9, Canada Powered by Squarespace <[link removed]> Unsubscribe <[link removed]>
