With our partners from the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority, she was rescued by our Ethiopia team after she was terribly injured in a car accident and her sister was killed. Thanks to their efforts, Blue is clinging to life. But now, she urgently needs your help.

Blue’s back leg was badly fractured when she was hit by a car, the protruding broken bone causing a serious wound.

Since her rescue, our team has literally worked around the clock to save her life. The deep wound on her leg seems to be healing and we hope we’ve done enough to save the limb.

Our unique Ensessa Kotteh rescue centre was created especially to rescue cheetahs (and lions!).

In Ethiopia, Born Free is the only hope for cheetahs who have been injured, orphaned or confiscated. But, this life-saving work is only possible with your help.
