Hard working men and women - even here in the US - are being forced to choose between going to work, and risking their lives at their workplaces, or losing their jobs. These vulnerable communities, like immigrants and low-wage workers, are essential to our economy and food supply, and they need our help.

Families living in poverty here in the US and around the world are especially vulnerable to the impacts of COVID-19. They are less likely to have sick pay or be able to continue their work from home. COVID-19 threatens to push half a billion people into poverty, and without a safety net, families will struggle to survive - and recover.

We're in North Carolina working with local partners to distribute cash to workers who have been laid off and advocating for better working conditions, for the sake of our workers and our food supply.
