Dear John,
With everything going on right now in the world, it can be easy to despair. One thing I know for certain--in times of trouble, feminists get things done.
The new generation of feminists in the movement are extraordinary. There are so many reasons to be hopeful. Feminists far and wide who won't back down in the face of adversity. Young women who know the future can be brighter than the present and are reaching millions with their message.
Here are just a few of the bright young feminists who are inspiring us today:

Liyanga de Silva, Emma Rose Lowder, Jailyn Seabrooks, Sufiya Manju, and Maira Brockbank, our Spring 2020 interns who are key members of our national office and work incredibly hard to support our staff every day.

Mari Copeny. sometimes referred to as Little Miss Flint, known for raising awareness of the Flint water crisis as well as starting dialogue about inequities in poor communities and fundraising for underprivileged children.

Emma Gonzalez, a graduate from Marjory Stoneman Douglas. She is a youth anti-gun violence activist as well as an activist for LGBTQ+ rights.

Greta Thunberg, a young climate change activist who has traveled around the world making change and stood up to world leaders who have belittled her mission.

We here at NOW are inspired by these young feminists who refuse to accept the status quo. These young women are raising their voices and showing the world what one voice can do. And when we work together? Anything is possible. As one of NOW's strongest supporters, I hope you're with us--can we count on you?
