** Dear Friend,

------------------------------------------------------------

** Over a year after a comprehensive process to update Maine Won't Wait began, the report's release is now just days away. Maine's climate action plan for the next four years will be announced on Thursday, November 21st.

To attend the announcement virtually, please register here ([link removed]) .
------------------------------------------------------------

** We're also pleased to share that the Infrastructure Rebuilding and Resilience Commission released its interim report at a press conference in Hallowell on Tuesday, (above). Governor Janet Mills established the 24-member Commission by Executive Order in May 2024, in the wake of several devastating storms.

After the event at Hallowell City Hall, the Commission's co-chairs toured a downtown building that suffered extreme flooding in the December 2023 storm, with owner Rich Friscia (below). The commercial and residential property is undergoing repairs funded by a Department of Economic and Community Development Business Recovery and Resilience Fund award.

** The Commission's interim recommendations are available online here ([link removed]) . The Commission will now build on the interim report to deliver the state's first long-term infrastructure resilience plan in May 2025.
