Dear Friends of 5 Gyres,

For 15 years, 5 Gyres has remained unwavering in our commitment to reduce harm from plastic pollution. Through four administrations, a global pandemic, and countless challenges and setbacks, our mission perseveres as we push forward real, science-backed solutions that protect people and the planet.

Regardless of the changes and challenges ahead in our nation’s leadership, our work will continue.

Over the next four years, we will:
* Advance policies to address microplastic pollution at all scales of government
* Defend bedrock policies, like the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act, and any others that protect our waterways, ocean, and public health

* Educate key decision-makers in Congress and the White House about the harm caused by plastic pollution and real solutions
