Dear Friends of 5 Gyres,

For 15 years, 5 Gyres has remained unwavering in our commitment to reduce harm from plastic pollution. Through four administrations, a global pandemic, and countless challenges and setbacks, our mission perseveres as we push forward real, science-backed solutions that protect people and the planet.

Regardless of the changes and challenges ahead in our nation’s leadership, our work will continue.

Over the next four years, we will:

Advance policies to address microplastic pollution at all scales of government
Defend bedrock policies, like the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act, and any others that protect our waterways, ocean, and public health
Educate key decision-makers in Congress and the White House about the harm caused by plastic pollution and real solutions

Now is the time to roll up our sleeves and work together to drive the change we wish to see in the world. We undoubtedly have challenges ahead of us, and we need your support now more than ever.
