Thune’s results-oriented leadership firsthand. As the country faces economic, energy, and environmental challenges, he is the right leader at the right time. We are delighted by his selection, and we look forward to working with him in this new capacity.”


Sen. Thune is a member of the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus ([link removed]) , a bicameral group dedicated to applying right-of-center solutions to a litany of challenges, including clean air and water, next-generation affordable and lower-emission energy sources, wildlife conservation, and access to public lands and waters. He was a 2022 recipient of ConservAmerica’s Congressional Champion Award ([link removed]) , which honors members of Congress who are working toward the advancement of sound energy, environmental, and conservation policy.
