Thune’s results-oriented leadership firsthand. As the country faces economic, energy, and environmental challenges, he is the right leader at the right time. Sen. Thune is a member of the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus, a bicameral group dedicated to applying right-of-center solutions to a litany of challenges, including clean air and water, next-generation affordable and lower-emission energy sources, wildlife conservation, and access to public lands and waters. He was a 2022 recipient of ConservAmerica’s Congressional Champion Award, which honors members of Congress who are working toward the advancement of sound energy, environmental, and conservation policy.
